Research- and Technology Institute in Kunshan/ China

Design of a research and development center for Tsinghua University in Kunshan. The complex includes an office building for administration and management, as well as research buildings and two factory buildings for the development of LCD prototypes. The main focus was put on the following points: Optimized building functionality and to provide excellent working conditions for future tenants and employees. Each research office has access to green spaces and is connected to an amenities building. Another important aspect was the possibility of setting up the site in different construction phases.
