Wings Architects is an international architecture and design practice based in Frankfurt, Germany, specializing in architecture, urban planning, and interior design.

Led by founder and principal Henrik Wings, the studio develops projects from concept to completion. Its design direction and conceptual approach shape work across all scales, from bespoke interiors and furniture to complex buildings and urban developments.

We see architecture as a collaborative process. Through close dialogue with clients, consultants, and collaborators, we translate ideas into carefully considered outcomes that respond to both ambition and context.

Henrik Wings

Founder & Principal, Dipl.-Ing. Architect

Henrik Wings is an architect and design leader with more than 20 years of international experience across architecture, urban planning, and interior design.

Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of projects and scales, from bespoke interiors and hospitality environments to complex mixed-use developments, aviation projects, and large-scale urban masterplans. His work combines design excellence with technical expertise and a strong focus on innovation, resulting in numerous award-winning projects worldwide.

Before founding Wings Architects, Henrik held senior leadership positions at internationally renowned architecture firms, including Gensler, HLW, and Swanke Hayden Connell Architects. Working across Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America, he led multidisciplinary teams and delivered projects for international clients in diverse cultural and business environments.

Henrik graduated from Bauhaus University Weimar with a Dipl.-Ing. / M.Sc. in Architecture and is a registered architect with the Chamber of Architects of Hesse, Germany.

Dr. Roland Winkler

Sustainability Director

Roland, who holds a PhD. in Chinese language and culture from LMU Munich, has been working for more than 20 years in the field of sustainability, urban development and energy-efficient construction in Greater China.

Roland is owner of MUDI Ltd., a comprehensive AEC service provider that developed the first ever low-energy office building, the PIV, in Pujiang, Shanghai. He is also the founder of Ecobuild Shanghai, a sustainability platform that later evolved into Econet China, which he co-developed with the German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and the City of Hamburg.

As Chairman of the German association SINOBAU, which aims to promote cooperation in the field of energy-efficiency, he is a well-known expert on sustainable building solutions.

Christian Seeling

Director of Marketing & Communications, Dipl. Des.

Christian leads the development of holistic brand strategies for discerning companies and premium brands. His approach combines strategic precision with aesthetic excellence, creating distinctive brand presences with lasting impact. Since December 2025, he has strengthened our team with his international experience and refined brand expertise.

His focus lies in executive-level employer branding, high-end social media content, and strategic corporate storytelling. By aligning visual identity with advanced digital marketing strategy, he delivers content that enhances brand equity, reputation, and long-term market positioning.

Christian holds a Diploma in Visual Communication and brings more than 30 years of international experience in strategic marketing, photography, and film. He graduated from Bauhaus University Weimar
